Keep the spirit alive!

On my way to work this morning I sat beside a very beautiful petite lady whom I assumed was around 30. For 10 minutes she sat quietly,  tears rolling down her beautiful cheeks. With a tissue she constantly dabbed her eyes. I wondered what could make such lady so tearful in a crowded train. Had to ask her what was wrong.

Story was she lost her 12year old son through food poisoning on a holiday trip to Corfu 2 months earlier.  On friday last week she received a letter of appointment for a job she had desired all her life – to be a life guard in Australia- she and the husband had planned for 2 years to emigrate to  Australia! !!!! She was in tears as she thought about how her son was also looking forward to the move. However she had mourned him but had to keep going because she believed he would want that for her. What a cruel twist I thought!!!

Got me thinking – Although there will always be regrets, bad situations, terrible outcomes, life is a teacher. ….you just got to get on with it and dwell your minds on things positive; hard as it may be, that’s the only choice you must offer yourself!!

To my dear friend who is at this point homeless and desperately seeking a job, my wish for you is that life finds you favour.

To my dear friend who’s at his wits end, do keep up the faith and engage your inner strength and let Nature’s God show you the right path.

Circumstances may differ, but there’s one rule of Law: Seeing the beauty in every situation makes for positive outcomes and positive living. Try it and see!!!!
